Well depends on which monster you have.

Win the official tournaments with your monster and win the M4 and that is all the ranks. Win the official E,D,C,B,A, and S tournaments with any monster and this raises your trainer rank. Win one of the M4 and it raises again, until you beat all the M4 and achieve master rank.

OOOHHHHH. I see what you were asking. I thought you wanted a training method on how to raise your rank. I didn't know you meant actually how to get past 5th rank. The Man you are correct.

D-rank=1st rank,C-rank=2nd rank,B-rank=3rd rank,A-rank=4th rank,S-rank=5th rank,1M4=6th rank,2M4=7th rank,3M4=8th rank,4M4=9th rank,Legends Cup winner=10th rank.

No andy that is not right. When you beat S-class you are 6th rank. You start off as rank 1(E-class). So in order to achieve "master" rank you must only beat the M4. The Legends Cup has nothing to do with raising your rank it just allows you to register your monster in the Hall of Fame(and of course win some cash).

I think what Andy is trying to say is that when you are in D-rank you are usually rank 1. So therfore when you are going to beat the S-class tournament you are generally in 5th.

Well if that is what he was saying then what is the thing about the Legends Cup. After you win the M4 you get to see the ending and become master rank. The Legends Cup has absolutely nothing to do with it. Yes you must beat the M4 to fight in the Legends Cup, but the Legends Cup just gets you a spiffy trophy, some money, and in the Hall of Fame. I don't see why somebody would mention that on something about trainer rank.

It is just a thought. I not getting mad just making a simple statement. If someone is wrong you should correct them and help them out. So if that is what he meant, my bad, but I was just trying to help out.
