In the foothills of the Sierras in N. Calif - Earlier in 1999 we were paying, in Northern California, around $1.70 - 1.80 per gallon (when 4 of our refineries went down). From the summer on we have been paying around $1.40 per gallon. Price continues to be $1.33 - $1.39 per gallon here in N. Cal. I guess its just karma - you all in the rest of the country have been living on easy street till now! :-)

Prices today at the pump (76 station) in Northern Nevada: $1.40 $1.50 $1.60 These are up 5 cents/gal from Monday. Diesel is $1.50 which went up 5 cents/gal last week.
