The only show that I watch every week is Iron Chef. It's a great Japanese cooking show on the Food Network. There really isn't any way to explain it; it's just something you need to see for yourself. And they almost always cook live seafood.

I'm pretty loyal to South Park when I'm home. Everybody Loves Raymond makes my monday night. And of course Simpsons. When's Futurama coming back?

Here's my select elite pantheon of shows that I have a weekly appointment with:

West Wing -- I have not missed an episode of this show yet. I love it. It makes me happy.
South Park -- Still funny. Don't care what anyone else says.
Saturday Night Live -- I am totally addicted to SNL. It's like being a baseball fan.. even when your team is down you still support them. Besides, it's getting funny again.
X-Files -- Even though they keep jerking us around and making us think we know stuff when really we don't, I still love 'em.

That's really about it. The SO never misses That 70s Show, but I don't share his enthusiasm (it's a good show but I'm not parking my butt on the couch to watch it every week).

I never never miss Friends, ER, or That '70s Show. Hyde's my man, but my husband adores Kelso because he's such an idiot. (Kelso's the idiot, I mean, not my husband)

I have to watch Law & Order, NYPD Blue, This Life and any dog show on the Animal Planet. I also like to watch Letterman, Two Fat Ladies, The Justice Files, That 70s Show, Malcolm in the Middle, and that Fashion Makeover show with Emme & Leon Hall (no accounting for taste eh? ). The dogs like to watch anything with sirens and love to howl along! :-)

Oooh, Kristin, did you see the one where they were baiting the very hungry crocodile and sitting in a boat waiting for it? It was him, his wife, and his dog. He stands up to check out this really cool snake, it bites him, he jumps, the boat moves, wife and dog fall into water where hungry crocodile is supposed to bed. First he freaks about the dog, then pulls his wife in (she's severely pissed at him - it's funny), then goes to find the dog. All are ok, but you don't see a whole lot of her for the rest of the episode.

Charlie and I always make sure we are home from work in time to catch the Larry Sanders reruns. Friends is a given for us, too. If it's Thursday after 8:00 p.m., people pretty much know not to call us.

We watch Who Wants to be a Millionaire religiously, cheering like maniacs for the contestants we like. Has anyone else noticed how freakin' WEIRD a lot of those contestants are? And did that doctor last night really say "What part of That's My Final Answer don't you understand, Regis?"?!? What an ass! I was sort of glad he blew his own Phone-A-Friend lifeline by talking too slowly.

My guiltiest tv pleasure has to be The Real World. And of course, I watch the Road Rules and RW/RR Challenge too. I just love to hate those people. I am way too old to be watching those shows, but it's not a choice, it's a compulsion. I even buy the books and videos so I can check out the RW/RR I never saw! I am Mtv's wet dream.

I used to make an effort to see Party of Five, Dawson's Creek, and Ally McBeal, but it was difficult because I'm not home much. Thankfully, I can go to Mighty Big TV (on Pamie's link list) and read reviews that are better than actually watching the show. Anyone who hasn't already read Pamie's reviews on MBTV should definitely check 'em out.

Buffy and Angel. Between 8 and 10 PM on Tuesday nights, I don't talk on the phone, I put everything else aside... I even turn the computer off. Unless they're in reruns, of course.

Otherwise, I have my VCR set to record Sesame Street every morning, so I can watch it when I wake up. This has an added benefit in that I'm able to fast-forward through "Elmo's World."

Have to see the X-files.. Somehow became a Party of 5 addict because I started watching the first season.. and just had to keep going.. I'll actually miss it next year.... My newest one would have to be 'Freaks and Geeks'... Love the show.. Has anyone else watched this?? Its a great show.. reminds me of high school.. I was a total geek.. Used to eat lunch in the band room.. and I wasnt even in band... sad eh!??

We do usually watch the Sunday night Fox shows, although these days I usually cook dinner during the Simpsons because it's not as good as it used to be. And I never stay awake through the end of the X-Files.

I watch other TV sometimes, but nothing else is can't-miss.

during the daytime it would be (if i didn't have to work): "leeza", "the young and the restless", "days of our lives", "judge judy" and "oprah". nighttimes it's: "buffy", "that 70's show", "x-files", "providence", "south park", and "the daily show". weekends, it's whatever sports are on: football, figure skating, formula one. god, i think i need to turn off the television, and read a book!

I watch ER and The Practice when I remember to, which isn't very often. Barry usually comes home from work and finds me watching Judge Judy *blush* and giggling at the people on it...

Friends. Never ever miss it. Especially if its new:) I watched loyally from the summer after the 1st season (when they got huge) until the end of the 3rd season, when it kinda faded out and I became obbsessed with the Monkees. Then, at the end of the 5th seaon (Ross and Emily's wedding), I saw Monica and Chandler (I always knew they were gonna hook up!) and was instantly hooked again. This season has sucked a little, but it's getting better.

I love the Simpsons. Gotta watch my hour dosage in syndication. Then I always watch on Sundays. I also love That 70's Show, but I haven't been watching it lately. I love Hyde:) Dirty little secret: even though I have never seen the show, I always have to read the Popular re-caps on Mighty Big TV. I have no idea why, I'm just addicted.

I forgot about Oz. Yep, the required weekly dosage of male prison rape. Actually, I think the characters are incredible and it's probably the most intense show on TV (next to the Crocodile Guy, of course)

Will & Grace is really good, too, I'm just never home to watch it. What happened to Frazier? I remember it being really funny, and now I can't stand to watch.

I rarely get to watch TV because I'm a college student with no access to TVs that actually get anything silly like, you know, reception. But hey. When I AM around a TV, though, I'm a trashy TV junkie.

Monday night? Oh, Ally McBeal's on ! I wonder which character's sex life we get to hear about this week?!
Still Monday night, during Ally commercials and then after it's over, I get to watch wrestling! Much to my parent's distress, I'm a wrestling freak. Please, someone, shoot me before I breed.
Thursdays? Oh, goody, Friends is on. And as long as we're at it, so it Smackdown!
Kickass. Oh, and the Drew Carey Show and Felicity. I think that's it.

Honest. That's it. And I only watch Felicity and Ally McBeal and Friends to...um...Make fun of them! Yeah, that's it.

Buffy. Simpsons (even though they ARE starting to get too violent and not as funny). I used to watch Deep Space 9, but not only did the series end, they don't show it in reruns anymore! Hey, I've still got lots of DS9 yet to watch...bring it back! Bring it back!

Current addiction: Cooking Live with Emeril Lagasse. BAM! He's da man!

I also love "Will and Grace" for 2 reasons: 1. Just Jack and 2. Grace's assistant, Karen. ("Honey? What's this? What's goin' on?")

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is, for my money, the best show on television. It's easy to write off a show that has a title like that as being campy, cheesy, etc - and there are times when it is. But it makes up for it when it tugs on the old heartstrings and induces a tear or two.

From there, there's Angel; occasionally Dawson; Ally McBeal is always on the list; and Popular and Brutally Normal are showing some promise as well.

I'm jealous, you guys. You get lots more good shows than I do in my part of the world. Anyway, I love Voyager so much that I actually OWN all the videos. Same goes for all other Trek series. Don't believe me? Check www.suneater.org. Strange fact: other SF and fantasy stuff doesn't do a thing for me. Other than that, Sex and the City is pure genius and in the cheese department, Love Boat - The Next Wave is my guilty pleasure. I love the All in the Family reruns they're showing on Dutch tv these days. It's the first time in 20 years I got the chance to watch it, and it's every bit as good as I remembered it to be. Same goes for MASH, although you guys have probably all seen it so many times you're sick to death of it. Now if they'd only start showing Monty Python at a reasonable hour once more.

Oh my. See I flip. A lot. I like to see snippets of lots of shows. I saw the Fox Family channel's wolf show, and no E, this ain't the same thing. Very close, but no keg parties. I've even caught S Club 7, a British Mickey Mouse Club singing group type thing though they work at a hotel in Miami. It's just weird enough to hold my attention for a minute or so.

Shows that will hold my attention- Simpsons, the one and only. Daily Show. Talk Soup, even though that Hal boy has my job, it condenses all of the talk shows and saves me even more flipping time. Crocodile Hunter, of course. I've given in to the pressure of the web and have started to find Buffy and Angel enjoyable (I always loved Forever Knight. Cop shows are good, vampire shows are good, but a vampire cop show? Golden). I'm also newly addicted to House Beautiful since seeing some of the coolest homes I'll never live in on a hungover Saturday morn.

Oh, and can't forget the reruns- Homicide on Court TV, Law & Order on A&E, and last night I saw Moonlighting on Bravo! Do I love that show? Do bears bear, to bees be? It's great to see the pre-Bruno/ Planet Hollywood Bruce Willis and understand why Demi married him.

I can't believe no one's mentioned Whose Line Is It Anyway? I watch that religiously, both the Drews Line on Thursdays and the daily dose of the British version on The Comedy Network.

Any other regular weekly shows have been previously mentioned - the Buffys, the ERs, the Allys, the Friends.

Dharma & Greg gets taped for weekend viewing as well.

The wife goes for those WB things - Dawson's Creek, Roswell, 7th Heaven, Angel, etc. I go play computer games when they're on.

During hockey season, every televised Toronto Maple Leafs game whenever possible. (Okay, that's just me.)

Um, I watch soap operas. I can't help it, they are such a great guilty pleasure -- not for their realism, no no no. More for the entertainment value of watching people like Thorne and Ridge and Sheridan and evil European peeople (this is nothing personal; all people on soaps with european accents are secretly villains. it's apparently the industry rule) scuffle over brainwashings and love triangles and exorcising demons from possessed psychiatrists. Honestly, I think soaps should appear on The Learning Channel, because next time I have a rare tropical disease or I'm imprisoned in the Parisian catacombs, I'll know exactly what to do.

Sex and the City. Absolutely. Funniest show on TV. Also, and this is hard to confess, I don't sleep well without my double dose of The Golden Girls on Lifetime. The show used to depress me when I was a kid, but now I can't live without it. I could talk about Betty White for days, Rue I love you, Bea Arthur-there aren't even words. Estelle Getty can drop dead though. Hate her.

No one's mentioned "Sports Night" - I'm totally hooked. It's by the same guy who does "West Wing," and wrote "American PResident" and "A Few Good Men," and it's really fabulous...Tuesday nights, 9:30, ABC.

Other must sees include "Friends" and "ER," "Real World/Road Rules," "Jeopardy," "Designing Women" reruns on Lifetime and when I want to be really sappy, "A Dating/Baby/Wedding Story" on TLC.

There is also, of course, "Ally McBeal," however, our local FOX affiliate is having issues with our cable company and we haven't had FOX since January 1! The Might Big recaps are getting me through, but I'm definitely missing my weekly dost of skinny lawyer angst.

only the truely sexy people watch THE DAILY SHOW. or are on it. the daily show has it all, entertaining and educating. like the learning channel crammed into 30 minutes. and jon stewart..ah, what he lacks in acting ability he more then makes up for in witty sarcasim and dimples. clearly the hottest man on t.v. (the hottest man in real life is andy cobb, hands off girls/guys) and for brain numbing fluff i suggest the pamela anderson(sometimes lee) vehicle, V.I.P.- the woman is a cartoon. i have given up on hating her and now love her. her exsistence is pure comedy, and the best part is, she knows it. and she uses her powers for good, too. she's a big supporter of P.E.T.A. and other good causes. too bad she can't lose that loser of an abusive hubby...oh another tangent.
