I have noticed at least four inquiries about the power in West Virginia operating with back-up generators. Hokie posted at least one of them. Has anyone else heard about this. We are served by AEP and Allegheny Power.

Longshot, the info I heard was a caller to a national radio show, and have yet to see any documentation to confirm or deny. Have you tried the company website, maybe under recent press releases?

I've read the inquires, have seen no response. Is Allegheny Power the company that bought West Virginia Power from Kansas City Power?

Where in the Mountain State are you living, LS? I'm over in the Eastern part, just a few miles from the Virginia border and a few miles north of I-64.
