I'm looking for bootlegs!greenspun.com : LUSENET : R.E.M. : One Thread |
I saw REM perform in Stirling, Scotland, last year. I've been keeping my eyes open for a bootleg of the last night there, but as yet I've not been able to find anything. If anyone has this bootleg or has any ideas on how I could get hold of it I'd welcome any help.Thanx.

Kier, I don't know personally but there is a shop in London called Minus Zero Records who specialise in REM bootlegs believe it or not, they have a healthy supply usually and if you phone them or write they'll send you a catalogue of all their latest stuff available (at least they did 2 months ago...but don't quote me),I know they did mail order so sending it to you won't be a problem if they have what you're after. failing that the guy that works there was an REM freak so he may be able to advise you further.I must admit I can't find the number now, but either ask dir.enquiries for Minus Zero records, Ladbroke Grove.....the road escapes me...no,it's Blenheim Crescent!!! if no joy I will dig the no. out of the book I first saw it in(it crawled from the south) and e mail you,or go to a bookstore and pinch it from there....anyway, longwinded but long answer!Andrew

Hey, as per bootlegs; I found that a pretty good way to get ahold of one is through the links on this very page. You can get a list of traders from it and they tend to list what they have. I got ahold of one of the Up shows by this measure and it's generally cheaper than buying bootlegs in stores. Hope this helps.
