at approximately 6:45 am Central Time, Hubby and I saw Peter Jennings more or less mumbling that there was a small blackout in New Zealand, but they got it right back on again, so it was nothing to worry about. Saw no other mention of it. Even when Koskinen gave his next update, he said no problems in New Zealand or Australia. Anybody seen anything about this?

It was caused by high winds, try watching another tv station.

Don't think so. Weather report said 23 mph winds. I reeeeeeaaally don't think that would do it.
