Flash will not function, batteries are fine in flash and camera body. Do these flash attachments have to have the bulb replaced, can't think of any other reason for failure to function?

Hey, it happend to mine. I was using a Rebel EOS II, and the problem was the lens. I removed my lens filter to find finger prints, i then cleaned the whole lens and it worked perfectly. Try cleaning your lens. If your shots are underdeveloped, then thats another problem that i had that was fixed by the cleaning. Lol. appature was to low because the auto was not seeing all the light. hope this helped.
