PG&E (utilities) Bill Late this Month

Just called PG&E (N. Calif utility co.) because hadn't received a bill since I moved into my new place November 1. She said 'oh they are going out tomorrow'. They are late because we installed a new system and had some glitches. I said, 'oh, a new system because of y2k'. She said 'no, just a new system'. Right! Like you'd install a new system right now if you didn't have to. Also they had my phone number wrong in records and didn't have the right kind of saver-plan service down for me that I had ordered before moving in so bill has to be re-calculated.

There was an earlier post on 11-23-99 on this with a link to the Chico Enterprise-Record. I had a worse experience.
