When I was a kid, I had a glow-in-the-dark skull which looked so fitting on my desk...later I lost it, and miss it still. I know I could buy a new one, but it's not the same.--Al

My office at work. I have nine plants that bloom and thrive as well as occassionally get sick. I take tender care of them. They bring out my caring side and my love of all things living.

My computer monitor is covered with stickers from bananas that I eat. I started that after watching an episode of The Simpsons. Bart's class is on a field trip at the police station and Chief Wiggum is showing them the two way radio, "And here's the radio. As you can see, some of the boys enjoy putting stickers from their bananas on it. We've got Chiquita, Del Monte, Gorilla's Choice..." That always cracked me up, so I guess the stickers represent my sense of humor.

I am surrounded by pictures of cats. Cat's on my computer, cats on my calendar, even comic strips about cats. I just love them. There are also pictures from children's books and a stuffed cow, which represent my child-like nature.

Of course I have pictures of my husband. He's the most important part of my life. He represents love.

My walls, I have pictures of everyone, all over all of the walls. All of my children in various stages of developement, my hubby, myself, friends, family and a cross in the center of it all. Just a simple wooden cross, surrounded by the people I love. Kind of a utopia.

my books. People who don't like to read, people who don't have a lot of books frighten me. I am immediately suspicious. I feel that something is very WRONG with them. "A room without books is a body without soul." I admit it, when I enter someone's home, I judge them by how much and what they read. Also, a thing in my room that shouts "me" is my Nike of Samothrace sculpture. It inspires me. I do like whimsical touches and Glinda the Good Witch is always good. I have a greeting card of her in one of those stand-up photo clip thingies on my dresser and a refrigerator magnet in the kitchen. On a bookshelf, I have another greeting card (this one framed) that has "The time has come the walrus said to talk of many things...etc." with darling little illustrations on it. The Museum Co. stores were so great! I'm sad so many are closing now.
