Baby doll sheep-breeders listed in your magazine and shows coming up featuring themgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
Hi, I get your magazine at our library and its very popular. I am looking for babydoll sheep in the s.e. for sale and thought your magazine was a good place to start. Also, I have an old orchard full of persimmons, paw paws and some other unidentified fruits. I'd like to know about your seed swap and how to list there. TIA

Janet, where do you live? Because people who are interested in getting seeds or scion wood from your trees would be wisest to look within fifty or a hundred miles of their own homes -- if the trees are from farther away than that, they won't be as well adapted. With annuals it doesn't matter as much. And a question -- what are babydoll sheep, and what are they good for?

I am raising an orphaned sheep that now thinks she is one of the dogs! The cozy stall I built in the yard remains empty because she screams, so ends up back in her crib in the house. I would like to find a baby doll sheep to be her friend. I am in Massachusetts. Does anyone know of a breeder in the northeast? Thank you.
