Where can I download software to check my computer for Y2K readiness. I would like to be able to download BIOS updates, database and spreadsheet checking software. Thanks!

Check out Mcaffee.com, they have good diagnostics too. I like the Nuts and Bolts package.

Hello all.Unfortunately, McAfeee doesn't do a very good job. I bought McAfee Office 2000 & ran the deal, then heard about IntelliFIX 2000 and bought that & installed it. Intellifix caught 40 MORE GLITCHES THAT MCAFEE MISSED (mainly .dll files).
I was hooked. Only thing about IntelliFIX 2000 is that it's a one- computer software deal. Can't switch disks to other computers...
I got mine at COMPUSA for around $40 this past Summer, they'll probably have a lot more in stock now.
IntelliFIX is made by Intelliquis:

http://www.symantec.com/y2k/y2k.html This is the Symantec/Norton y2k fix URL. Allows you to download the files to your HD, and also make a floppy. In addition to the BIOS stuff, the floppy download includes a leap year fix.
