I want to donate my time in exchange for experiencegreenspun.com : LUSENET : Shooting DV Films : One Thread |
Hello, I am currently enrolled in the Media Program at Capilano College in North Vancouver, British Columbia. I am in my 2nd of the 2 year program and graduate in April. I enjoy the dv format very much. Last year I produced a documentary on the independent hip-hop movement in Vancouver. This year I am shooting and producing a skateboard video and have secured its distribution accross Canada. Before I graduate I must complete a 1 month practicum working in the production industry. I am wondering if you may know of any productions that are being shot in the Pacific Northwest (or further south if I can afford it) that I can donate my time to in exchange for more experience. I am schooled in pre-production, production, and post production. I have shot alot of footage with the Sony VX-1000 and Canon Xl-1 digital cameras, as well as 8mm and 16mm film cameras. I have alot of experience using the Media 100, Avid MC Express, and Adobe Premier 5.5 editting system. Thankyou, and I look forward to your reply...-- Andrew Pedley (drewpedley@hotmail.com/), Novembe
