I know we're all so crazy busy that our little webring has been moved to the back burner, but I just had a random thought about it today so I thought I'd start a thread where we can deposit all our random thoughts about it, until plays/exams/etc. are over and we can actually get it up and running.I was thinking that once we got it going, we could figure out who we wanted to ask to join (I think Liz suggested Elspeth, which I am all for) and spotlight her journal for a month (like on our main page, with each of us saying why we read her or whatever), and then she would be an official member, and the five of us would decide who was next, and just let it expand nice and slowly.

Yes, this sounds like a good idea. I'm all for Elspeth joining our little group. And I have space on my web server if we need someplace to put it.
I started working on a little logo and I had some cool text, but I need some sort of picture for it. Maybe the four of us can take a picture on our weekend with my digital cam and then I'll distort it enough that no one could really make out who's who.

I like these ideas that we're coming up with. I like the idea of adding some women to our group and maybe doing writeups of lesser known journals.I say we brainstorm over this on our weekend. I want to take some pictures of us to use for logos. And I can blur them and alter them so that no one can really tell who it is.
And I really like the name Diurna Sororia .

I think that's a GREAT idea! And I love the idea of asking Elspeth first! She's really wonderful!I really like the idea of featuring a journal and writing about why we like it. That's terrific!
And I know this might sound a little snotty, but I'd also like to concentrate on journals that aren't really popular. I mean, I like reading Atropine and Kymm and Tess, but these are the journals that get all the recognition, all the time. I'd really like to start off by showcasing smaller, unknown journals that are still really excellent -- like Elspeth and Freak Magnet by Moira and Glitter. (Of course, we should also stick to girls that we feel a kinship with.)
Hmmmm. What will we do about the men? No guys? Honorary guys?
This is so cool! I think it will really bring recognition to smaller journals that are great but get overlooked! And I love our name! I think we should use the Latin as the main name -- It's just so cool!
