Cory mentioned afew treads down about serveral companys experieneing serious problems now, Hersey, E-bay to note a few. E-bay was down some yesterday 11/1, and now it is down until futher notice today. We can talk about the end of the year but for me this hits home now. E-bay is where I make my money. Any other input as to there possible tech problems...Thanks

Les, I just browsed through that announcement bb, it seems their system has been on/off intermittently for quite a while. Also, they have important messages that I think you should be aware of as a person who says makes his money from eBay, one is that a bogus site is asking people for their eBay user ID and password. Check it out.

They have been having a *lot* of problems the past few days. I was worried about my auctions that were going on during this mess, but fortunately they ended without catastrophe (catastrophe being defined as ending before the last-minute bidding which is where things get to realistic prices, as I *refuse* to start with an absurdly high opening, and likewise will not use a reserve).

I *did* miss out on several *other* auctions I was keeping an eye on, dangit.
