Do you have a new favorite game?

Really, you have to play Cranium. It is the most fun. Is there a new game you've been playing lately? Tell us about it.

I think that Cranium rocks...and I'm not saying that because I'm 3-0.

But I think my new favorite game with be "Follow the Tuna Truck." All I need is a Map and some thumbtacks and daily contact with the driver of the truck.

This could be a blast.

I'm thinking about pitching it to Letterman.

www.won.net

I'm hooked on the gin rummy there. It's real-time against another player. It's great! I'm addicted and must resist the addiction so that I'm not late for work.

SPREAD THE WORD! www.won.net!

I've been playing Soul Calibur and Ready 2 Rumble on Dreamcast. They're just great, fun, cartoony, beat-the-shit-out-of-each-other games. They're best on two-player. I've been shopping for some board games, but nothing appeals...

"Follow the Tuna Truck"... you really should give Letterman a call. I can already see it.

I love www.won.net! Although, I'll admit, it's not gin rummy that revs my engine. It's Acrophobia (by the same guys who made "You Don't Know Jack). A random acronym shoots up on your screen and you have 60 seconds to create a reasonable meaning for it. Once the minute is up, your answer and the answers of the other people in the room are listed anonymously and you have to vote for your favorite one, but you can't vote for yourself. Sometimes the acronyms are general, sometimes they're tied to a topic (sports, animals, celebrities, etc), and then, of course, there's the dirty "adult" version...but who are we kidding here. You can only say the word 'penis' in so many different ways.

Anyway, this is my plug for www.won.net, too. Enjoy it. ;)

Yah! Acrophobia rocks!!! I love playing in the rooms like AcroDome where you get to make your own topic and stuff instead of going with the sometimes lame topics the computer spits out at you...

Lately, I've been playing yahoo canasta... I had a 10 game winning streak going on until about 2 days ago... haven't played since though :) hehe

My new favorite game is called "Lose the Fart in the Craft Store"

All you need is your partner, a craft store, and to have eaten a meal a few hours earlier that gives you both gas. Then, when you go shopping for materials to make your Halloween costumes, you try and outrun your smellies. The real fun is seeing the reaction of all of the Martha Stewart wannabe's.

"Celebrity Lookalike"

I learned this from one of my coworkers. You can play anywhere but it's best at boring meetings or airports. You just look around and see if you spot anyone that looks like a celebrity.

I have a client that looks like David Hyde Pierce, another coworker looks like Keri Russell. I saw Andre Agassi in Mexico, Whoopi Goldberg on the airplane, and Patrick Duffy in K-mart. Oh yeah, one of my bosses looks EXACTLY like Holly Hunter.

Other than that, on the computer I am hooked on Free Cell, Memory Blocks and Checkers.

Go play Set if you haven't yet! It's the family game of visual perception! It will make your vision hazy!

There's a web site up with rules and all at www.setgame.com, but really, it's way better with the actual cards across an actual table, with beads of blood dripping from your forehead.

Recently I found about this game called Goocher, that apparantly everyone and their dog knows about except me. It's one of those "I'm poor and bored so let's think of something silly to do" games where you drop three quarters on a table simultaneously and if they all three are heads up and heads down, you get to proclaim "Goocher!"...and that's about it. No points. No "win". No prize. I guess it's a really stinking game, but hey...once you start, you just can't stop. You HAVE to get all three heads-up. And once you've done it, you've got to do it again. In a row. And you won't stop until you've got them all in a row. It seems like EVERYONE looks at me screwy whenever I say I just heard of "Goocher". "I was playing Goocher while I was in diapers!" they proclaim. I think I missed something...Did anyone else miss out on this game?
