Aren't they? I can never believe it when I hear someone say that animals don'thave personalities. My two dogs could be more different. And neither of them are anything like our cat in terms of temperment and behavior/

Mack, my 80 pound lab/golden mix is super afraid of thunder and lightening. Every time we have one of those storms he cries and tries to get into bed with us. He paces the house freaking out.

I've always noticed that cats do that sort of thing. We had a cat growing up and sometimes she would just spaz out and run all over the house.

And Ginger is apparently Houdini. Last night I woke after a bad dream about her and wanted to look over at her cuteness. I look in her crate and it's empty and the door is wide open. I get up startled and find her sleeping on the carpet over by the dresser. She looked so sweet that I left her there. But how the hell did she get out of that crate?

I think my cat needs therapy. She only really spazzes out when it's windy outside (rain/thunder/lightning don't bother her, just wind) but she's been acting like a freak ever since I got home tonight, and it's calm as can be outside (but chilly, which I'm sooo happy about.)

And I really think dogs are the only smart animals. Cats aren't really smart, but they know how to *act* smart. That's the difference. Cats do really stupid things but act like it's exactly what they wanted to do all along, fooling their humans into thinking they are intelligent.
