Did you have to dress up like a chicken and dance on the conference table or something? You can't beat the stuff that used to happen in my old office. We had margarita machines once a month. The idiocy abounded. Nothing like a bunch of drunk production executives.

My office has a fair amount of parties and drinking too.

The first week I worked here they had a keg party in the office.

It's a common occurrance to see people having a beer on friday afternoons. There are always a lot of happy hours and gatherings in the summer.

And my boss is usually the drunkest person at the Christmas parties.

On Christmas Eve when I worked at Circuit City, our manager would bring in alcohol for all the managers and we would get...well, tipsy...in the store, while it was open. He made homemade sambuca (which was gross) and brought in other stuff and we'd all sit in the conference room doing shots. Very scary.

Boy and I thought I had worked in some CRAZY places. When I worked in radio, we used to get smashed together all the time. Considering that most "work projects" somehow ended up involving an open bar, loud music (albeit country music) a dance floor, and free food, it wasn't much of a surprise.

Although, I have to say that I really never expected to get drunk and then end up sharing a cab back to our hotel with my friend and the CFO of the third largest broadcast group in the country, who were equally blitzed. ;)

TV Guide was mostly just happy hours and lots of juvenile fun.
