We are professional photographers currently using Nikon F3 and N70.What digital cameras allow for the same range and precision?

The Nikon D1 will be available later this month for $4995.00 - allows complete re-use of all Nikon pro lenses and all the versatility and functionality of the F5 with nearly 3 million pixels. Check out the review at http://www.askey.net. There are other cameras reviewed as well. Stay away from Kodak - way overpriced.

At the PMA show in Miami it was announced that the D1 will not be avalable for another 9 months. Kodak has another camera aound the same price, the DCS 330.
