I am looking for advice on a no frills video mixer that will allow me to live-mix three to four video sources for projection on multiple screens/monitors. Most of the mixers i've seen have had special effects packages, but I'm looking for something that meerly swiches sources and allows for simple transitions like desolve and fade-up/out. The application is multi-media theatre productions.

Look at the Panasonic MX-20, it's cheap and pretty good for basic switching. It has 4 inputs, s-video included. Don't get the titler, it's pure crap.
