I have heard that there is an adapter for analogue camcorders to transfer still pics onto a PC as digital photos. Doies this exist and where can I read abvout it? Can it be recommended?

I have been looking for something similar and found this card that should do the trick....

Look under products and at the bottom of the page, right side you will see a link for the EzyCapture Card under the Miscellaneous section. I don't think this comes with the cable though. I don't know what country you live in so I can't say how available the product is to you although I'm sure you could pick up a similar brand that would do the same job. In Australia this card can be bought for around $85.00 Happy videoing !
