It is starting to look as if the industrial types are beginning to panic...

Those CLASSIFIED reports that Sen. Thompson refers to must be real doozies. What if even the classified reports UNDERESTIMATED the situation??? I'm no doomer, but I got to tell ya, all this work was supposed to be completed in September 1998!!!

The CONTROVERSY and FLAME WARS are ALL going away in January!

We will know...either way, it will be extraordinary...either we DIDN'T burn our bridges, technologically speaking, or we DID. In January it will be revealed. Until then, I hope for the BEST, yet because Sen Dodd said the city I live in is living in FANTASYLAND, I must rprepare for the WORST! (H2O and sewer WON'T make it...they will TRY to run them manually...if Van Nuys is an example, the shrubbery should be very green indeed!

$15K is loose change to an Intel or a Mitsubishi. The consortium just charges that fee to cover support costs like copying and such.

Well, folks, looks like we're starting to see some big companies get that "Hey, wait a minute, this is worse than I thought!" look in their eyes...
