Hello:

I am about to purchase my first Digital Camera, and for various reasons I need to be able to operate it from a distance (4-8ft). I have been unable to locate any cameras that support remotes. Does anyone know of any or have any other suggestions I might consider. My apologies if this question is old, hackneyed, or otherwise a waste of anyone's time --- I'm a camera neophyte, not just a digital doofus. (=-D) Thank you.

Answers

The Olympus 2000 comes with a remote. My Ricoh RDC4200 has a remote sensor on it. The remote is an option that is about $30.
