I know that DVD has a standard logo but I have never seen a logo for VCD. Does one exist? If so, how can I see what it looks like?

The standard logo for a video cd can be found on Original copyrighted films. Such as those from www.videocds.com or www.cdmovies.com. It looks like a CD leaning at an angle with a lin and the words Video CD under it. Warner Bros. uses the word Video over CD with a line between them. However most DVD players have a logo similar to Compact Disc, in that it is Compact Discs Digital Video. The logo replaces the word AUDIO with VIDEO. So far...the last one with the words Compact Disc and the other words Digital Video surrounded by rectangle box is the standard one.
