Seeing as how nobody's really tried, I was very close to disclosing the answer. Then I realized, who the hell is the girl in the front row on the left? Seriously, I remember most of the trip (except what I've blocked out from Vegas) but was I really drunk or something? Oh, wait, that's the fortune teller, isn't it? Wow, did you see how many questions I've asked in a row? Why couldn't I do this for my Who's Line audition? Why did I leave such a long response to the Will Smith question? What am I doing? Every Chuy I know in Dallas (counting the Austin-Dallas restaurant chain and another family chain over in Fort Worth) pronounces it Choo- ee. But that seems way too easy, so I'm guessing your friend's name has some exotic pronunciation.

Okay, the polls are now closed.

The correct answer (as Chuy so elegantly pointed out in his posting) is to pronounce it like "Chewy."

This has caused many a joke at Chuy's expense over the years, so don't try and come up with one, he's heard them all.
