FUJIFILM PUTS SOME ADDITIONAL "ZIP" INTO ITS LINE OF CONSUMER COMPUTER STORAGE PRODUCTS WITH THE UNVELING OF FUJIFILM-BRANDED ZIP. 250 DISKS

The storage capacity and accelerated transfer rate of Fujifilm's Zip 250 disks allow users to store large files such as CD-quality audio, full-motion video clips and high resolution digital images for business presentations, Internet downloads or virtually any business or consumer application that requires advanced storage capabilities.

The Computer Products Division of Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. is now shipping PC and Macintoshr-compatible Zip 250 high-capacity data storage disks to resellers nationwide. A co-developer of the Zip 250 storage product along with the Iomega Corporation, Fujifilm-branded Zip 250 disks store 250MB of information - more than double the capacity of the original Zip 100 disk - and work in conjunction with Zip 250 drives marketed by Iomega. Both Zip 100 and Zip 250 were enabled by Fujifilm's ATOMM coating technology, one of the most influential innovations in data storage history.

For more information about Zip 250 disks and Fujifilm's full line of computer storage products, consumers can call 1-800-488-3854 or visit the company's web site at www.fujifilm.com.

The Iomega 250MB Zip drive and the storage media has been available for a while. I have been using the Internal (IDE) Iomega 250MB for last 2 - 3 months. In past I have experienced a lot of failures with Fuji Disks, therefore I am using the Iomega storage media rather than Fuji brand.
