The manual with my new c-2000 lists several accessories (case, lens adapter, ac adapter, etc.). I can find no dealer that carries any of these. Also "authentic" Olympus branded smartmedia (for the panorama effect). The manual said to go to the Olympus website for info, but there is nothing there except a local dealer list (contacted them; no help), and an Olympus service addy (sent email, no response). Is there anywhere to get Olympus camera accessories?

Answers

It is my understanding that the C2000Z will use the same accessory lenses as the 620L. I read someplace that the necessary adapter was due to be released in June. B&H carries most of the accessories. b&hphotovideo.com

I'm still looking for info on which external flashes will work best with the C2000Z. My next step will be to call b&h for advice...

That's http://www.bhphotovideo.com, to be specific, apparently (I had to play with the address a little find that). I also notice that www.microwarehouse.com carries the 16mb Oly Smartmedia cards (M-16PU) but it's $3 more than B&H. I just ordered my C2000 (from www.computers4sure.com); should be here tomorrow AM.

I'm in the process of looking around for accessories right now, too!

I recently ordered accessories from MarinePark in NY, where I found everything I wanted IN STOCK. I spoke with someone named Steve (Ext. 204) who was also very helpful and gave me good deals on the items I purchased. I've had my Oly C2000 for 6 days and think it's absolutely terrific!
