Has it started to affect you in areas other than exercise? Do you find yourself quoting Billy at work, in your car, or on the phone? How can we resist becoming one of those spandexed drones behind him?

You so funny -- I brought up my own concept of What Would Billy Do? in my journal (free plug! www.geocities.com/athens/atlantis/2508) just a few days ago.

I dream about Tae-Bo a lot. Nothing quite as exciting as getting stuck in the intro tape, but I find myself doing Tae-Bo in strange places like the grocery store and the library. In my dreams, that is.In real life, though, I am often tempted and okay, once, at a video rental store I found myself doing the forward 3X jab + punch down the Family Entertainment ilse. That was to impress my brother. I think it worked.
I am still having problems with the fact I have no place to do it here at my folks house (have to wait until they are gone for some reason so I can turn the living room into my own personal martial arts studio.) I really wish they would come out with audio tapes. Then I could just stick on the headphones and tae-bo around the backyard. If I did it naked I could get a great tan that way.

I started Tae-Bo on account of you, too, Pamie. Lately, we Soccer Moms talk of nothing on the sidelines but Billy and his inspirational words. Have I become a spandexed drone if I find myself snickering at anyone who hasn't yet heard of Billy Blanks?Tae-Bo Haiku Billy, you move me. I count to 8 and back down -- I am sweating now.

Holy Crap, Pamie! A LIVE Tae Bo??? Can it be????OK, so $30 a month. Can I swing that? I mean it should be worth it sine you'll never get bored with a new tape all the time. OK, so my question is this, oh Tae Bo master: Basic has become relatively easy. I still sweat, but don't feel exhausted after it. So if I do this, should I just go with the Advanced and hope for the best??
AND YOU KNOW WHAT???
This should provide thousands upon thousands of new mumbles to decode!!! HOORAY!!

Okay, wolfpac. If you can make it through the Basic without getting exhausted, my first advice to you would be to do the basic followed by the eight minute (skip the cool down of the first and the warm up of the second) and then do the remaining six minutes or so.If your still hanging in there-- go on to the advanced.
I'm not gonna lie to you here-- it's much harder. Much longer. But the good thing is if you need to stop and skip one of the exercises, drink some water and then start up again when you catch your breath. you can see some of the others in the back stop sometimes too (I've yet to make it through the butt workout, and I feel okay seeing that some of the others have to stop, too). You know it's really hard because Billy is practically screaming at you to keep it up. He's not doing them either. That's because he doesn't want us to see him cry.
You might start crying. That's okay. It's a cleansing sort of cry.
When the hour is over you get that feeling like you did the first time you finished the basic, "Man. I made it. I feel good."
But during the hour, you feel like you might just die.
DON'T EAT BEFORE YOU TAE-BO. I've never been so nauseous.
Good luck, and keep me posted!

I know this thread is very very old, but I just saw a Billy Blanks Subway commercial, and I just *knew* it had to be inspired by a Tae-Bo dream. It was scary.
