I recently bought a used Nikon 80-200 f2.8 lens which came with a Optex skylight filter. I couldn't find any info for this brand filter. Is this a decent quality filter? Thanks for any response!

Simply put, screwing a Optex filter on a Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8 lens is like installing recaps tires on a Ferrari.

Dump the no-name filter and buy a quality one. If you have the money, buy a B+W or a Nikon filter. If you are on a budget, buy a Hoya or a Tiffen. Beleive me, there is a difference.
