Does anyone know the processing proceedure for print bleaching followed by selenium toning in the same session? Since the Farmer's Reducer (Kodak's bleach) is followed by a non-hardening fixing bath, how is it possible to selenium tone prints without a complete, one-hour wash inbetween? I know that many of the top printers bleach and tone in a single sequence, but I've never come across any article on how they do it.

As a suggestion, go from the fix derectly into the toner. The problem with stains usually occurs from partially washed prints. When fully saturated with fix, prints usually don't stain.

Obviously try this with a garbage print before trying it with something important.

My experience with selenium is also that when I do not rinse that long but only short ofter fixing the toning effect is better. I print the the to-be-toned prints considerably softer/lighter than how I want them, to leave something open for the selenium to come in. This seems better to me than using Farmer's before.
