Definately the nightmarchers!! I lived on the big island, and heard so many stories about them. You are never supposed to look at them directly.

I like the maui legends, personally. But then in any case, the legends of the Night warriors, and how they'll kill/maim anyone who looks at them is rather interesting. Kind of makes you wonder who started it... perhaps Kamehameha or some trouble makers?
