I was fortunate enough to be able to visit several islands of Hawaii two years ago---and I am still going through withdrawal! I never could have imagined a place so beautiful: black sand beaches, Humpback whales surfacing off the coast of Maui, sea turtles floating along the Napali Coast--- it's no wonder all of your notecards and giclee prints are so beautiful. I would be artistically inspired by all of those wonderful things too if I lived in Hawaii. Maybe someday :)
