And now, something completely different!greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread |
I know it's not a MAME game (and obviously it will never be), but if anyone wants to asnwer... my score in Time Crisis II (solo play) is 698,000 points. Is there anyone who does better than me (yeah!!)? Let me know! Thanks!

Hmm. Hate to burst your bubble Vaz, but I've gotten upwards of 1,200,000 points on Solo Play in TC2 (finished without continuing of course). The key to getting a high score is attempting to shoot each enemy three times, and get as many in the head as possible (it awards more points). And oh yeah, shooting those yellow soldiers...Haven't played in months though, I've probably gotten rusty.
-BBH oh yeah, I've gotten 1,475,000 in Cooperative Mode... played with another guy who knows the game pretty well too...

That's one hell of a score! Congrats, because this is I believe the highest so far that I've seen which could probably make the TG book as first in the world when the next edition comes out. Got any pinball scores to compare? :)SMK

hehe, thanks. But to get a score in the TG book you have to like verify it or have witnesses present to prove the score or something, right? And no, I suck at pinball :) My best "accomplishment" in pinball would be getting 378 million or so on Addams Family, but there are tons of people who can beat that on a regular basis.

My master, on 23rd Dec 1998, 17.00 h CET,I did score 897,000 points on link play (I should say solo because I found nobody to play with). If a had a twin, I would have scored 1,900,000 points instead... was it a good work? Merry Xmas everyone!- Vaz aka c64
