I heard yesterday (12/11/98) from a source that Brilliant BVCIII (the variable contrast fiber paper) is in trouble. The 8x10 size has been discontinued and the stock of 11x14 has run out and is back ordered. Can anyone confirm this?

Anyone try the Oriental paper available from Freestyle Photo yet?

I e-mailed Calumet about this and just got a response. The 8x10 is backordered, but they expect 400 boxes to arrive in about a week. Calumet has not discontinued this paper, it is only a temporary backorder.

FYI: Zone VI Brilliant VC III is actually Ilford MG IV. Because Calumet offers this same paper at a lower price, it is a good deal.
