I recently accuired a White Sewing Machine which I was told dated from the 1890's. It has several patent dates, the most recent being Nov. 26, 1881. The serial number is 973769. It has cast iron legs and treadle, seven drawers and a wood cover that covers the sewing head. The wood work is carved and inlaid with different colors of wood. There is a small drop leaf on the left end. It has a key, and all locks work. Has all attachments, instructions etc. and seems to be in working order. Does anyone know the correct date and approx. value?
