I was recently in Boston and made a trip to the Titanic Exhibition. This exhibition was amazing. It was very creepy and made Titanic "craze" come full circle. It gives you a feeling of closure. If anyone else has seen this exhibtion, I'm curious of your thoughts about it. I was fortunate enough to buy a piece of coal that was brought up from the titanic on an expedition in 1994.

Can you believe they charge 50 Canadian dollars for the same coal sample in Ottawa, Canada? Not that I intend to buy, just heard on TV.

Not to bag anyone, but why on earth would you want to buy a piece of coal that supposedly came from the Titanic? I could quite easily buy a bag of heat beads and sell them off for $50 each saying they were pieces of coal from the Titanic.

I haven't been to it yet. It's just a few blocks from where I live but I can't seem to find the time to do it. It's leaving soon so I guess I have to go next week. I'm sure it's very interesing but I would never buy a lump of coal.

First off, the coal wasn't $50, it was $15. This is the only item from the ship that is sold to the public. It's a piece of history. It came with a certificate of authenticity and it was sealed. I certainly don't regret buying it. Someday my grandchildren will have something that is truly historical.
