Someone has claimed that a large portion of the proceeds for the movie "A Night to Remember" went to the Titanic survivors and/or descendants. Is this true? Also, to whom did Fox recently pay some money, to Mr. Murdoch's descendants or to his home town (to avoid negative publicity after accusations that Cameron's film portrayed him in a false light)? (I forget.)

I can't answer your first question, but as to the second, Fox donated about $7500 US (5000 British Pounds) to Murdoch's home town in Scotland for a community center or some such.
