What's the word from Nashville, friends? I'd love to hear about any advances in recording (narrow topic, there), but also what seems like the best ideas out there in general?

The Tascam 24-bit DAT recorder sounds interesting...I wasn't there, but I should be at AES in Sept. (SF) if all goes well.
