Commenting that "Leo lunacy rages on," today's (Friday) Daily Variety reported that Lions Gate Films, which claimed last month that Leonard DiCaprio was "attached" to appear in its American Psycho, has been courting Oliver Stone to direct the film. The trade paper said that Stone has had informal talks about the movie with the film company's execs and also with DiCaprio but that no deal has been struck. Variety also reported that Aurelio DiLaurentiis' production company has offered DiCaprio $22 million to star in a remake of A Farewell to Arms.
