After mixing rapid fixer, I use Kodak, is it still necessary to dilute the working solution in the tray? There are no other instructions on the package other than the mixing info.

I mix and stock it at the paper strength (1+7). I mix and stock it in seperate bottles for film (1+3). You are using two bath fixing, right?
