Does anyone know of another way to replace the step chain on a Westinghouse type N escalator with out removing terrazo floor at the bottom of the unit? This style unit does not have a removal floor plate behind the comb plate. There is a plate but it is covered with terrazo to match the existing floor in the lobby of the building.
